January 20, 2010, Vilnius. In January 11, 2010 Informacinių projektų sistemos UAB (IPS) was merged into Sintagma UAB. Both companies belong to Asseco Group – the largest IT group in Central and Eastern Europe.

Since then all the assets and liabilities of Informacinių projektų sistemos UAB, the rights and obligations under concluded transactions of the merged company have been passed to Sintagma UAB.

Sintagma and IPS have been developing for many years a specialized software for managing insurance business. The goal of this merger was to consolidate competencies and experience in developing insurance information systems, and to strengthen positions in the insurance information systems sector in the Baltic States.

Sintagma’s insurance business management systems are used by Lithuanian, Latvian, Kazakhstan life and non-life insurance companies belonging to SEB, PZU, ERGO, Sampo, Aviva and other groups.
